Suggestions to help you get started.

Pick the log style and profile that you like the best and:

1. Determine the home you want to build.   The southland Log Homesdesign team is ready to create your new home - exactly the way you want it. You can:
      Make your selection of the model and floorplan from our planning guide - or a design of your own.
      Make any changes you want to an existing Model and Floorplan - such as flipping the whole floorplan, adding windows, moving doors, whatever you like. We can modify any set of plans to your specifications to suite your life style.
      Provide a sketch of your own home design and floorplan, or photos or illustrations of a home you like.
2. Get a price and materials list from Southland Log Homes.
      Based on your input, our staff will prepare a detailed price and materials list. You'll get our price in writing so there will be no surprises.
3. Order your Southland Log Home.
      After you've asked us all the questions you wish, simply place your order. Our professionals will begin to draw complete construction blueprints for your new home. We can also help you with cost estimates and pre-qualify you for a mortgage (We use ING Direct).  Rest Assured, we'll keep in touch with you all along the way.
4. Finalize your construction costs.
      Once you have received your complete plans you can finalize your construction costs. Use the Cost worksheet below as a guide.
5. Then begin to experience the Southland difference for yourself.
